HR Manager

Our client in Metal industries is currently looking for a HR manager at their HQ in the south of Niedersachsen/ Lower Saxony.

 

Responsibilities:

–       Recruiting (Discuss vacancies, do recruiting procedure including doing interview, prepare working contract and entrance preparation; support managers by orientation planning and administrational preparation before hiring)

–       Collaboration with works council (discussion and preparation of works council agreements, first contact person, regular meetings with works council)

–       Time Management and Preparation of Salary accounting (Control and check time management system, collect and file all documentation of time management process as well as illness and vacation documentation, prepare and collect all information and data which are necessary for salary accounting, prepare payroll slips)

–       HR development (prepare target agreement and employee appraisal interviews, support managers)

–       HR administration (take care of personnel files and HR documentation issues; be a contact person for employees if they have HR questions; organize HR quality management (method descriptions); take care that all necessary appointments are followed by the management; take care of organizational chart and emergency list, make doctors’ appointments)

–       Further education and training organization (organize and evaluate trainings + documentation)

–       HR controlling/Reporting (calculate KPI (sick-leave, vacation, overtime, employee structure etc.)

–       Legal issues (written warnings, firing, problem discussion etc.)

 

Skills and experience:

–       More than 5 years of experience in HR issues (like described tasks)

–       Experience in collaboration with works council (also in difficult situation)

–       Basic knowledge in salary issues

–       Very good knowledge in labor law (individual and collective)

–       Fluent English and German 

–       Very Good knowledge of MS-office
